Ingredients - Yields 1 cup of turmeric latte:
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
- Pinch of vanilla
- Pinch of black pepper and freshly grated nutmeg (optional)
- 1 glass plant-based milk
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Sweeteners (optional, e.g. coconut blossom sugar or rice syrup)
Stir all ingredients into the milk and warm the milk. Simmer gently for 5 minutes. Sweeten and enjoy.
Preparation with paste:
Mix 5 teaspoons of turmeric with a little water then simmer until a paste is formed. Mix 1 teaspoon of the paste with the remaining ingredients then enjoy.
